What other funding is out there, and you how can get it? In the current financial climate, it is now even more important than ever to be aware of the various forms of funding that are available outside of the usual banking system, and how you can access them.
Why you should attend
This seminar will take delegates through three alternative sources of funding; venture capital and Business Angels; asset based lending and refinancing; and Islamic finance.
Ali Vania, Islamic Bank of Britain, will give an insight into the Islamic concepts that underpin Islamic Finance products, taking delegates through the IBB product range with a focus on commercial property finance.
Rob Carroll, Catapult Venture Managers, will discuss venture capital and funding available through Business Angels. His lecture will include a view of the funding market, equity, and what you can expect from a venture capitalist, what they are looking for, and the assessment process.
Richard Keenan, Embark Finance, will cover asset based lending, whether it be to buy or re-finance assets within your business on a leased or hire purchase basis, along with or financing options available such as factoring and invoice discounting.
