ICAEW secured two green ratings for providing sufficient assurance on its effective approach to regulation and operational delivery, and an amber rating for providing partial assurance on the well-led standard. This puts ICAEW as the joint second highest-ranking legal services regulator out of eight regulatory bodies and indicates that ICAEW is performing well within the sector.
We welcome the findings of the LSB’s review, particularly its recognition of our work in relation to HMCTS delays in which we provided evidence to Parliament and the development of our new resources and guidance for probate consumers in our Consumer Hub. We will continue to build on these strengths and address the areas highlighted by the LSB for improvement.
