We are delighted to invite you to the much-anticipated launch of our new member group – ICAEW Northern Ireland – created specifically for our members across the province.
We will be marking the launch with two special events, held in the one venue; an informal evening reception and the following day, a morning conference, both to be hosted by ICAEW Deputy President, Mark Rhys and ICAEW Regional Director, Justin Kyriakou.
We will bring together ICAEW members from across Northern Ireland, spanning all stages of career, and working in various disciplines and sectors, to celebrate our diverse professional community, and to look to what the future holds for ICAEW, our profession and our local economy.
Members' reception: 4 April 2023, 17:30 – 19:30
You will hear from Mark Rhys, ICAEW Deputy President, who will speak about ICAEW's priorities at a time when our profession – and the demands on those within it – are experiencing a period of unprecedented and significant change, and where the need on us all to evolve and remain relevant has never been more critical. Mark will talk about how ICAEW's 2030 strategy, focussed around five key themes, will shape its activities and role as an international membership organisation, regulator and influencer, and the opportunities this brings for those in Northern Ireland, the UK and across its international geographies.
There will also be an important update from the newly appointed Chair of the Board for ICAEW Northern Ireland, Bernard O'Hara, Director at KPMG's Belfast office. Bernard will give you an insight into the role of the board, and its influence, his ambitions, and plans for the group, and on how volunteering for ICAEW will play a pivotal role in shaping the support available to all members locally.
Please note this event is for ICAEW members only. Book your place now.
