OUR VOLUNTEERS
Our achievements depend upon the vital contributions of our global network of member and student volunteers. We are very grateful for their support.
Many of our members serve on councils, boards and committees, playing a vital part in ensuring that ICAEW continues to meet its objectives. Our volunteers also play an essential role in promoting the profession and supporting other members and students. This varies from mentoring to speaking at events, enabling the profession to continue to be open to everyone. Our volunteers continue to play a fundamental role in our success, and we are very grateful to them for their involvement and goodwill.

Belonging & supporting
We support our more than 172,200 members across the world, personally and professionally. We do this through our faculties, communities and regions, as well as the Chartered Accountants Worldwide (CAW) network.
Education & training
We are committed to educating the chartered accountants of tomorrow, with a focus on building future business and professional leaders. We work with universities, schools and other educational establishments to support recruitment activity for employers and our commitment to social mobility.
Reputation and influence
We apply our expertise across a wide variety of topics relating to business, the profession and national policymaking. Our work in upholding standards is also crucial to protecting the public and holding our members accountable.
ICAEW as a regulator
As an improvement regulator, ICAEW acts in the public interest by holding ICAEW members and firms plus other regulated persons to the highest professional standards.
Supporting our people
Our people continue to be one of our greatest assets. Their commitment, expertise and abilities enable and ensure ICAEW delivers against our strategy
