Biography
David was re-elected to Council and appointed Chair of ICAEW's Governance and Appointments Committee in October 2023, having previously served the Institute for more than a decade in a variety of roles (including Council member, Chair of Technical Strategy Board, Board Member and ultimately Office Holder and President 2020-2021). He also represents the UK CCAB as a Vice-President of Accountancy Europe.
He currently acts as a Non-Executive/Trustee for a variety of organisations, having previously worked for KPMG LLP for 38 years, latterly as an Executive Committee and Board Member responsible for Quality and Risk Management.
He is also a member of the Court of Worshipful Company Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Justice of the Peace.
