Catherine is currently the Chief Internal Auditor of the States of Jersey where she has served over 9 years; she previously worked for a large global bank on the Board of Private Clients and prior to that worked in practice with Deloitte in Jersey, London and New Zealand; and also served as a Royal Navy Reserve Officer. Catherine is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with circ 20 years’ experience (and qualified with the ICAEW regional prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement); she also holds an investment qualification from CISI as well as holding the Risk Management Certificate from the IRM, Qualified IT Auditor, Mediator and CMI Qualification (specialization change management).
Catherine as well as being on ICAEW Council is also on the Executive Board of the Jersey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants and Chair of the Training and Marketing Committee of the JSCCA. Catherine is passionate about governance and ensuring there is supportive learning and development opportunities for all our members.
Catherine was born in Jersey. Catherine and her husband David have four young children and enjoy skiing, boating and scuba diving as well as supporting a number of local charities.
