When to apply for access arrangements
If you require access arrangements for your exams, you should apply when you register as a student with ICAEW, or as soon as you know you'll need support when booking your exams.
Deadlines:
ACA Certificate Level and ICAEW CFAB exams:
Apply at least 21 working days before your intended exam date.
Do not book your exam until arrangements have been confirmed.
Professional and Advanced Level
Apply by the exam applications deadline for your chosen exam session.
Most applications will be processed within 21 working days, during peak exam periods and for complex applications this may take longer.
Late applications
If your application is received after the deadline, it will still be processed, but arrangements may not be in place for your chosen session.If you receive a diagnosis after the deadline, please contact us immediately.
