We are currently inviting applications for ICAEW members to join the network boards operating across the Yorkshire and the Humber region, for terms starting in June 2025.

Whilst we are open to applications from all members working or advising in the region, we are particularly keen to hear from:

  • Members working in key industries – you may be a Finance Manager or Director in an SME or a larger corporate operating within one of the region’s key economic sectors, ideally manufacturing & engineering or retail
  • Public sector members – you will work in local government, public health, services, or agencies, with a sound knowledge of the wider UK public sector landscape
  • Members working in the charity/NFP sector – we are looking for Finance Manager or Director working in a charitable organisation with a local or national focus.

As a board member, you’ll bring your insight into the profession, the sectors driving the regional economy, and identify challenges and opportunities within the local business environment.

You’ll contribute to informing our strategy and shaping initiatives for ICAEW members in the region by providing invaluable perspectives on local needs, trends, and the evolving profession & economic landscape.

You can find out more about becoming a volunteer with the network board, and download a copy of the Board member role profile:

If you would like to hear more about the opportunity or to express an interest in making an application, please email Kim Johnston, ICAEW Regional Director, at kim.johnston@icaew.com

Applications will remain open until 31 March 2025.
