Services for members in business
BBH aims to support members who have made the transition from practice to industry.
With over 3,200 members working in industry and commerce, we are keen to build upon the existing services and breadth of support we provide to them.
Accountants in business conference
The annual Accountants in business conference takes place on Thursday 10 October 2024 at the Fielder Centre, Hatfield.
The Conference programme includes:
- Financial reporting update
- Cyber security
- The role of AI in finance & management
- Economic outlook
- Tax update
- The journey towards employee ownership
Half-day courses which will be of particular interest to business members
- Company Tax Computations – Opportunities and Pitfalls (BBH 11/24) – 24 September 2024
- Annual Accounting and Tax Refresher (BBH 13/24) – 2 October 2024
- Financial Reporting Update (BBH 15/24 and 18/24) – 17 October and 6 November 2024
These courses are designed with business members in mind. That is not to say that members in practice will not learn something, particularly if you work closely with members in business or you have management responsibility within your practice.
