Fazal qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant from Jeffreys Henry Chartered Accountants, London (a member firm of JHI) in 1984. He is a Fellow of ICAEW and a member of the ICAEW Audit Faculty. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants.
Fazal was elected twice as Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (1997-2005) and also served as chairman of the technical advisory committee (North) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (1997-2005). Fazal was twice elected as Vice President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, as well as being elected as director of Lahore Stock Exchange (Guarantee) Limited for three years (1998-2000). Fazal was also elected as President of the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants. He has also attended IFAC and SAFA conferences around the world on various occasions.
Fazal has diversified expertise in capital market issues, Corporate Laws and financial management. He has been engaged in various special assignments throughout his career, with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. He is the founding partner of Fazal Mahmood and Company Chartered Accountants, a member firm of JHI and Task International and has been in practice for over three decades.

Ameena is an experienced Chartered Accountant from PwC London (2006-2012), with under ten years of experience in audit, transactions advisory, restructuring and consulting. She has cross-sector experience of working within private equity, healthcare, public sector. She re-located to Karachi and gained charity experience in Pakistan, working for the largest educational NGO’s.
Currently she is diversifying her career towards Professional Training & Coaching with a Masters in Occupational and Business Psychology from Kingston, London with a keen interest in Well Being. Her passion, drive, adaptability, and keen interest in continual learning culminated in a mid-career Master's to now implement in her consultancy work. She is focused on people development, team engagement, leadership consultancy, and well-being coaching. She is raising awareness of Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace, especially with women in finance in Pakistan.
Apart from technical skills of IFRS, she believes in encouraging finance professionals to develop themselves with softer skills and strategic thinking to promote positive and healthy work environments.
