Biography
Salim is the Head of Project Accounting – Major Projects at Qatargas and has lived in Qatar since 2013, having moved from the UK. He is an FCA and holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Management Control from Sheffield Hallam University as well as a Diploma in IFRS (ICAEW).
Salim has over 20 years’ experience having qualified in 2004 with Grant Thornton UK, after which he moved into various finance roles at companies including British Gas and Petro-Canada before joining Qatargas. Salim’s roles took him all over the UK, onto Libya and now Qatar.
Salim is based on Doha, Qatar with his wife Saima and two young children.
