Michael Bynoe is PwC Barbados' Territory Leader with 29 years of professional experience in Barbados and the United Kingdom.

Upon graduation from the University of Southampton in 1986, Mike joined Coopers and Lybrand in Southampton, England, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1990. He returned to his native Barbados in late 1990, joining the C&L practice there. He was promoted to manager in 1992 and was admitted to the partnership on 1 January 1998 just prior to the firm's merger with Price Waterhouse. Since the early 1990's Mike's principal focus has been on insurance audits and he led the firm's insurance practice prior to assuming the role of FS leader.

Mike has worked on most of the firm's local life and general insurance companies and he currently has a large portfolio of captive insurance companies. He is one of the region's experts in the area of insurance accounting under International Financial Reporting Standards. Mike also has experience in auditing both domestic and offshore funds as well as private banks.
