LSCA Area Societies and groups

The Area Societies Development & Communications Committee (ASDAC) is responsible for co-ordinating activities between Branch/Area Societies and certain other groups in London. The committee acts as a two-way communication channel between Branch/Area Societies and the Main London Society.

The Canary Wharf Members’ Group reflects the varied interests of members living and working in Canary Wharf, Docklands and the City of London. All interested ICAEW members regardless of their location are welcome to attend.

Previous events have included presentations from high profile speakers including FCA Chairman, and MP for Poplar and Limehouse.

North London Society of Chartered Accountants (NLSCA) is a branch of the London Society, and provides CPD and networking opportunities for ICAEW members in North London. NLSCA is very keen to involve the younger members, especially newly qualified accountants, to join the Committee and attend meetings.

North West London Chartered Accountants (NWLCA) meetings take the form of structured lectures by well-known speakers with the aim of assisting chartered accountants to keep up to date and to meet other chartered accountants. NWLCA is very keen to involve the younger members, especially newly qualified accountants, to join the Committee and attend meetings.

Cost: admission by ticket only, available from the administrator. £30 each or £100 for all four courses booked together. Newly qualified members 50% discount on Extended Evenings if all four booked.

Tax Discussion Group

The Tax Discussion Group meets monthly from September to June, on the second Wednesday of the month in the evening. Currently taking place on Zoom, these meetings are free of charge. Please contact us at the above address for more information.

Whilst we have chosen to postpone some of our planned events, we are working on getting some of our offering online. 

West London Chartered Accountants (WLCA) runs a series of monthly meetings on topics of interests to members both in practice and business, as well as social and networking events throughout the year.
