Cyprus Younger Members Committee

The ICAEW Cyprus Younger Members Committee (CYMC) is a volunteer group, whose primary purpose is to work with the local ICAEW team to help deliver a member support plan for ICAEW Cyprus that provides increased value to younger members in the region.

Styliana Panayi is a Director in the Assurance Department of PwC Cyprus and also member of the Corporate Reporting Services team.

Styliana holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance with first-class honours from the University of Manchester and a Master in Business Administration (MBA).

Nicolas is a Senior ESG analyst at Bank of Cyprus and is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the ESG agenda of the Organisation. Nicolas is currently responsible for the estimation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions based on Greenhouse Gas protocol and Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions), setting of decarbonization targets based on a climate scenario and designing the strategy to meet those targets. Nicolas is also responsible of the production of ESG Disclosures and Sustainability Report (TCFD, NFRD and GRI standards) and is also involved in several ESG projects currently undertaken by the Bank. Nicolas is an ICAEW Qualified Chartered Accountant with more than six years of experience in a Big Four accounting firm. Nicolas has accumulated significant experience in auditing and has led several long-term cross-functional IFRS 17 consulting projects in Cyprus and abroad.

Styliani Eftychiou is an Internal Auditor, in the Internal Audit Department of Cyta. She started her career in Audit and Accounting Services back in 2015 with one of the Big Four Audit Firms (KPMG Cyprus), where she qualified as an ACA and became Audit Supervisor. Participated in the Audit of a large listed client in the Cyprus Stock exchange and smaller firms across sectors. Following KPMG, he joined Crowe Cyprus, where he was part of a team that operated the accounting department of an Insurance Reinsurance Company (non-life), which was outsourced to Crowe Cyprus.
