The cost of cybercrime for seven countries
The Accenture Security The Cost of Cybercrime reports published last year and in 2017 highlight how the cost of cyber attacks has increased for larger organisations in seven countries over a three year period.
The authors of the report define cyberattacks as malicious activity conducted against an organisation through the IT infrastructure via the internal or external networks, or the internet.
The average annual cost of cybercrime by industry
The Accenture Security report from 2019 also examined how the cost changed for large organisations in different sectors between 2017 and 2018.
