Eligibility for the fourth and fifth SEISS grants will be assessed using additional evidence not used for the previous grants. Join the Tax Faculty’s Caroline Miskin for a free webinar to find out more.
There will be winners and losers as the eligibility tests for the fourth and fifth self-employment income support scheme (SEISS) grants will now consider four years of tax return data.
Furthermore, only those who had filed their 2019/20 self assessment return by 2 March 2021 will qualify for these grants.
It is expected that HMRC will contact those eligible for the fourth SEISS grant in mid-April.
The latest SEISS update webinar from the Tax Faculty on 13 April is timed to coincide with this and is free to register.
