ICAEW’s MTD hub contains a range of resources, including useful ‘What you need to know’ guides, news and feature articles, recordings of webinars and links to detailed guidance from HMRC and Bloomsbury. ICAEW member firms have access to Bloomsbury’s Accounting and Tax Service.
The content on Making Tax Digital Income Tax Self Assessment (MTD ITSA) reflects the policy changes announced in November 2023, the relaunch of private beta testing in April 2024 and some other new information.
The main changes are to:
- the ‘What you need to know' page for MTD ITSA;
- answers to frequently asked questions on MTD ITSA; and
- the guidance on how to sign up for MTD.
The content now addresses most of the questions raised by ICAEW members in the faculty’s April 2024 MTDtalk webinar.
