Currently Chair of Deloitte Asia Pacific and former Chair of Deloitte China, Dennis Chow has been appointed as Deloitte Global Deputy Chair, beginning June 2022. In his new role, Chow will support Deloitte Global to drive forward its global strategy and cement Deloitte’s position as the leading professional services organisation worldwide.

Chow joined Deloitte in 1986 and became a partner in 1999. With a career spanning more than 35 years, he has led key engagements for numerous blue-chip corporations, primarily servicing financial services and real estate companies. He was Deloitte China Chair from 2020 until 2022, when he became Chair of Deloitte Asia Pacific.

Outside of Deloitte, Chow has been contributing to the advancement of the profession and society through his services to government agencies, industry bodies and educational institutions. His key external appointments include being a council/committee member of Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Hong Kong Hospital Authority, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Tourism Board and Hong Kong Accounting Adviser to the Ministry of Finance of China.

Throughout his career, Chow had held several leadership roles within Deloitte China, including leading the firm’s practice in the southern China region as well as serving as managing partner of priority accounts.

Chow is also a leading advocate of Deloitte’s culture of ALL IN, actively supporting the promotion of female talent to leadership positions, and deeply involved in inclusion initiatives. He chairs the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council of Deloitte Asia Pacific and was previously Chair of the council of Deloitte China.
