ICAEW Insights podcasts deliver expert commentary directly to your preferred listening platform. ICAEW produces two series, Accountancy Insights and The Tax Track, to help members stay up-to-date on developments affecting their work, all while counting towards yearly CPD requirements.
Accountancy Insights, presented by former BBC journalist Philippa Lamb, shares news and developments from across accountancy and ICAEW on a monthly basis. A sub-series, Behind the Numbers, then conducts a deep dive on a big issue affecting accountancy, business and finance, convening a panel of experts from across ICAEW and beyond. Recent topics have included audit and governance reform, the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act and two special episodes recorded live from COP28 in Dubai.
The Tax Track, produced monthly in partnership with ICAEW’s Tax Faculty, offers news and analysis for tax professionals or members who have an interest in the finer points of taxation. Lindsey Wicks, Senior Technical Manager in Tax Policy and Stephen Relf, Technical Manager in Tax, are joined by experts at the Tax Faculty to explain developments in the sector. It’s an informal and conversational look at tax issues, informing listeners in an engaging and entertaining way.
