Last summer ICAEW surveyed members asking for feedback on its Member Reward scheme to ensure it provides ACA students and members with the most practical and beneficial rewards.
Members asked for more offers on high street brands and travel, as well as support for their professional lives. In response, ICAEW has added eight partners to the programme, with new rewards including a cashback card and access to HR advice.
Broader offering and access
ICAEW’s aim is to support ACA students and members, enhancing the value of their ICAEW membership at all stages of their career. The goal for 2025 is to continue to grow the programme and broaden its appeal. There will also be further benefits to be introduced later in the year, including making Member Rewards offers available on the MyICAEW app.
New partners are offering high street savings, including an ICAEW virtual cashback card by Pluxee where members can earn up to 15% cashback at more than 80 top retailers. Alternatively, ICAEW now enjoys a tie-up with the ICAEW cashback card + gyms by Pluxee where members and students can earn cashback and save up to 25% at 4,000 gyms and health clubs across the UK and Ireland. ICAEW has opted for a virtual card because of the savings on CO2 emissions.
There are also time-limited seasonal offers to look out for so it’s always worth checking Member Rewards on a regular basis for extra discounts. Some that are currently live include free Club 1847 membership, with discounted dining at Searcys restaurants and bars.
Career and firm support
Recognising recent changes to employment law and challenges with retaining talent, ICAEW introduced two new partners aimed at supporting our members in business and practice.
Croner is a leading provider of employment law, HR and health and safety advice, and offers members a free helpline and a discounted subscription.
Mercer, meanwhile, provides employee benefits for small and medium-sized businesses with Elect by Mercer Marsh Benefits. Its dedicated ICAEW team is on hand to help support members.
OnGen, an organisation dedicated to helping reduce energy costs and carbon footprint by transitioning to renewable energy sources, has also joined the programme.
