Titilope Babafunso ACA. Tax Disputes Solicitor, KPMG Law.
Titilope has made remarkable strides in her career with ICAEW, balancing her professional development with personal responsibilities. After completing her undergraduate degree in Nigeria, she moved to the UK to pursue a master’s in international financial law.
Her journey with ICAEW began at a Big Four firm, where she worked as a tax investigator. Despite the challenges of working and being a parent, she successfully studied and completed the ACA qualification and took part in the pathways programme to gain the Chartered Tax Adviser certification. Gaining the ACA has been invaluable in her current role as a Tax Disputes Solicitor, where she uses the knowledge learnt to aid her when working with clients who have complex tax issues.
Titilope does all of this whilst juggling being a mother of two and supporting other ICAEW initiatives such as providing feedback on ACA exams to further improve them.
