The Corporate Finance qualification comprises two core stages: the Diploma and the Advanced Diploma.

Those who are studying in the UK must take the Certificate in Corporate Finance offered by the Securities and Investment Institute (SII) before proceeding to the diploma level.

Diploma in Corporate Finance

The Diploma stage focuses on providing a transactions-orientated knowledge (i.e. carry out transactions whether it's buying/selling shares, buying/selling companies etc) to enhance and develop key analytical skills.

The Diploma stage comprises of five modules:

  • Foundation in corporate finance
  • Interpretation of financial statements
  • Valuations
  • Debt and equity
  • Changes in control
