Information on learning materials for current ACA examinations, and how to purchase them, can be found in the exam resources section of the website. Further information and guidance on digital learning materials is also available.
Copies of historical learning materials are held in the ICAEW Library, and details of the Library's holdings are set out below.
Please note: ICAEW strongly discourages students from relying on older materials, which is why students can only access past papers and learning resources going back a few years on our website. Historical materials were appropriate for the time that they were set but may now be dated because of political, economic or accounting developments or because of changes to the exam.
Library holdings of ACA learning materials
The Library and Information Service holds an incomplete collection of learning materials, study guides and revision guides for the Institute's ACA examinations.
Information on our holdings of these materials can be found on the Library catalogue, via the links below:
- Browse Library holdings of ACA learning materials from 2007 onwards
- Browse Library holdings of pre-2007 ACA learning materials
In 2021 all ACA, ICAEW CFAB and Level 4 Apprenticeship learning materials became digital-only. The Library’s print holdings of ACA learning materials therefore end in 2020. The Library still collects learning materials (where possible) in digital format, but regrettably we cannot supply from these.
Please note that the learning materials held by the Library are for reference only — we do not hold lending copies. If you wish to visit the Library to view copies of learning materials, please contact us in advance to ensure that the relevant materials are available to consult.
