Office for National Statistics
The ONS provides statistics, commentary and articles on inflation, sales, prices, the Retail Price Index (RPI) and Consumer Price Index (CPI). Search their database for the data you need. they also publish the quarterly Consumer Trends (spending on goods and services by UK households)
BRC-Nielsen Shop Price Index
Published monthly by the British Retail Consortium, tracking price changes in the retail sector.
BRC Retail sales Monitor
Monthly report of weekly sales data from retailers published by the British Retail Consortium. Three separate reports cover Retail sales - UK; Retail sales- Scotland; and Online retail sales - UK.
Scottish Widows Household Index
In this quarterly report, the Scottish Widows Household Finance Index anticipates changes in consumer behaviour by measuring how households perceive their own financial wellbeing. The report is compiled each quarter by IHS Markit, using original survey data collected by Ipsos MORI.

United Kingdom Economic Accounts (UKEA)

Bank of England Monetary Policy Report
This quarterly report gives economic analysis and inflation projections, providing an assessment of the prospects for UK inflation. The report also indicates the medium-term inflation prospects and risks for the UK. Known as the Bank of England Inflation report until November 2019.
Bank of England/GfK BOP Inflation Attitudes Survey
A quarterly survey carried out by GfK NOP for the Bank of England. It records public knowledge, understanding, attitudes and expectations of interest rates and inflation. The survey began in 2001.

Monetary Policy Committee
The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Bank of England sets the UK base rate. Their website publishes the minutes of its meetings and spreadsheets showing the voting patterns of the Committee back to May 1997.
FT Data Archive
The Financial Times publishes official and market interest rates in its print edition from Monday to Friday. These tables are available from the Data Archive (subscription required) for the last five years. [filter search by 'popular print' and 'FTSE 500, Fixed Incomes, Commodities, Interest rates' ]. Current rates (UK and overseas) are freely available from the bonds section of FT Markets data.
UK Financial Statistics
