A time to say thanks: recognising the contribution of volunteers to charities and other not-for-profit organisations.
Volunteers' Week is an opportunity to recognise and thank volunteers across the UK.
On this Volunteers’ Week, we’d like to say thank you to all of you who so generously give their time to volunteer for charities and other not-for-profit organisations. At ICAEW, we encourage our members and students to offer their world-leading knowledge, skills and ethics to give back, and to help strengthen the charity sector.
Our online trustee training is now free of charge for everyone to equip volunteers with the knowledge and skills to be effective charity trustees, and we aim to provide you with the tools and information to help you with your voluntary activities in our Volunteering Community.
Our website, ICAEW Volunteers, has been connecting charities with finance professionals for nearly a decade. I’m proud to say that each month, our members apply for hundreds of volunteering roles via ICAEW Volunteers.
Listen to what incoming ICAEW President, Julia Penny, wants to say to you:
