Chris Olds has joined BGF as chief operating officer from Bristol-based technology company Ultraleap. He has significant experience with venture capital and growth-stage markets.
While at Ultraleap, the business raised more than £100m in equity and debt, and acquired US tech company Leap Motion. Prior to Ultraleap, he was capital markets partner at FTSE 250-listed venture capital firm, IP Group.
He trained as a chartered accountant in South Africa with PKF, before moving to London (where PKF is now part of BDO). He succeeds Matt Reed, who has been with BGF since it was founded in 2011, latterly as COO.
Lauren Pamma has joined Aldermore from the Green Finance Institute to build a new energy and infrastructure business. She previously worked for Lloyds Banking Group and has worked in corporate finance for more than 20 years.
Skye Ranicar has joined Agathos as investment associate from Equion Capital, a Melbourne-based mid-market corporate advisory firm that advises corporate clients in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to that she was an executive in KPMG’s debt advisory team in Australia.
She qualified as a chartered accountant in 2021.
