This webinar looks to showcase examples of best practice reporting across the public sector and explore good practice principles for annual reporting.

Public sector reporting is a vital tool in allowing the public and Parliament to understand how taxpayers' money has been spent, what an organisation's strategy is and what the key risks they face are. Crucially, it should also explain what public sector organisations have achieved throughout the financial year.

Ensuring good practice in public sector financial reporting has therefore arguably never been more important. The public sector has faced a magnitude of challenges over recent years and is likely to continue to face financial pressures over the coming few. Transparent, timely and good quality financial reporting is key to ensure public bodies are held to account by the public and Parliament alike.

This webinar looks to showcase examples of best practice reporting across the public sector and explore good practice principles for annual reporting. Attendees will hear from Dan Chan, Partner at PwC, with vast experience in working with charities, and Steven Corbishley, Director at the National Audit Office who leads the NAO's audit quality unit.
