Grunberg & Co Chartered Accountants were one of the practices that took part in the Net Zero Accountancy Protocol pilot. They worked with Net Zero Now to input their carbon footprint data into the platform and found that they have a relatively low carbon footprint. This is expected in professional services firms as it is not a huge polluting sector. However, there are still some significant carbon reductions that can be made.
Through the platform recommendations and useful data representation, they were able to identify where their footprint hotspots were and have set a target to be net zero by 2030.
If you have used Net Zero Now to measure your carbon footprint, you may be eligible to sign up as an ICAEW Climate Champion.
