Smart meters are the new generation of gas and electricity meters, and remove the necessity to take meter readings. They send automatic meter readings directly to your energy supplier, meaning both accurate bills, and an end to you having to take your own meter readings, leaving you with one less thing on your to do list.
But in addition to making life easier, there is also the bigger picture of sustainability.
