2024 promises to be an 'exciting' year, not least because everything has to be underpinned by the fact we will face a UK General Election at some point. So, whilst payroll, reward and employment law professionals yearn for certainty and stability, this cannot be guaranteed.

ICAEW have already provided a document covering the rates and allowances for tax year 2024/25. Yet, in addition to this, there are many operational issues that professionals need to be aware of, this year, next year and the year after! In this year's Payroll & Reward Update, we cover subjects including:

  • the UK Budget 2024;
  • employment and pension law updates as they affect payroll and reward;
  • future development; and
  • the mandatory payrolling of benefits-in-kind from April 2026.

This update is a must-watch for members.
