AI can be a nebulous and confusing space for organisations new to the technology, whether you are looking to develop or use conversational AI, generative AI or even AI products and services with intelligence that is indistinguishable from that of humans. With issues such as trustworthiness and risk being uppermost for many organisations, there is much ongoing discussion about how such risks can be managed. Standards can play a key role and BSI – the UK’s National Standards Body – will soon be publishing the first international AI management standard, ISO/IEC 42001, to help mitigate risk and responsibly provide support for development and use of AI products and services that address societal concerns.
By attending this event you will gain an understanding of how this standard, via its consensus-based approach, can help establish, implement, maintain and continually improve organizations’ AI management systems, and gain an understanding of how the standards ecosystem - alongside assurance and regulation - can help accelerate AI adoption among organisations in a structured way that helps address and mitigate risk.
